Liudmyla Popova, Head of the Labour Protection Department at Risoil Terminal, took part in a large-scale event – the VIII International Conference “Industrial Safety. Best Practices 2021” that was held in Lviv.

“For instance, we were interested in the topic entitled ‘Basic Principles of HSE Management on Large Capital Projects’, which covers health, safety, and the environment. In addition, we will work out a programme for the effective implementation of advanced occupational safety indicators as another step towards zero injuries,” says Lyudmila summarizing the experience of her business trip.

The organizers of the Industrial Security Conference brought together speakers who shared leading global and Ukrainian practices, including:

• digitalization of processes in the field of occupational safety: concepts, tools, and programs;
• Vision Zero proactive safety indicators;
• HSE competencies: up-to-date knowledge, skills, and abilities.

In total, 140 representatives of Ukrainian companies and organisations took part in the Conference.
