A Historical Event for the Port of Chornomorsk!

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority completed the dredging operations on the approaches to the Risoil pier reaching a depth of 15 m.

This is the result of the interaction between a state-owned company and Risoil Terminal within the framework of the first take or pay agreement in the country. The Parties signed it on 7 September 2021 in the presence of Oleksandr  Kubrakov, Minister of Inftrastructure, and Claude Wild, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Ukraine.

As was mentioned in the state-owned company, the actual volume of the dredging operations amounted to 373.5 thousand m3 of soil.

Risoil Group finds it exciting to initiate events that will ultimately change the future of the port for the better. We hope that in June this year we will fully launch the facility at the junction of Berths No. 10 and No.11 and will be able to receive the first vessels,” emphasise Risoil’s top managers.

Risoil Terminal expresses its gratitude to the USPA for the work carried out and continues to fulfil its part of the obligations – to build a modern bilateral pier, which creates new opportunities for the development of the port of Chornomorsk.
